Well it took almost ten minutes to google and find out what was this dish all about after I saw this on a restaurant menu.Then I realized it the simple cucumber Raita that we Indians make . I couldn't stop laughing at myself. Well can't blame the restaurant guys . People needs interesting names on the menu and on television to go and try that out. Well I tried making this at home in no time and trust me it goes well with any chips. You can make it spicy or non spicy.
Cook Time : 10 minutes
Ingredients
1 cup whole milk yogurt
1 small cucumber, seeded, finely grated and drained
2 cloves garlic, finely minced
1 tsp lemon zest
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
Directions
In a medium bowl, whisk together the yogurt, cucumber, garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice and dill. Season with salt and pepper.Refrigerate
PS: For some extra flavor, add some olive oil and some coarsely chopped fresh mint. Serve with crudities at your next part.
