How to Make Soft Fluffy Idlis

So the secret of a fluffy Idili is adding some cooked rice to the ground batter. I tried this and couldn't believe that I too can make awesome Ildlis'(Steamed Rice Cakes)

Ingredients
3 Cups of Idli Rice
1 Cup of Lentils (White)
1 Cup Cooked Rice

Directions
  • Soak the Rice and Lentils for 8 hours.
  • Grind all the ingredients together with salt until it becomes a smooth paste
  • Preheat oven at 180 degrees and turn it off. 
  • Leave the batter inside oven for 8 hours to rise
  • Pour it into the mold  and steam it for ten minutes 

Voila! the batter turns to be a soft fluffy Idli.Yum Yum !!
