This chutney can be served with Idiappam as it gives a different aroma because of fenugreek seeds. This is a wonderful combination with Idiappam recipe in my blog.
Ingredients
Coconut : 2 cups
Green Chilli : 2 nos
Mustard Seeds : 1 tsp
Fenugreek seeds : 1 tsp
Dried Red Chilli : 1 nos
Oil: 2 Tbsp
Directions
Grind the coconut and green chilli in a blender until it becomes a thin paste. Then heat the pan and pour the oil . Once the oil is heatened up add the mustard seeds, dried red chilli and fenugreek seeds. When they pop add the coconut paste to the pan and salt to taste. Wait for it to come to a boil and turn off the stove. Garnish it with curry leaves or it can be served as it is with Idiappam.
