Its so boring to eat plain rice without any flavor. But making a flavorful rice at home in no time is quite something interesting.
Ingredients
1 cup of washed Basmati Rice
1 tsp Cumin Seeds
1/2 cup fresh Green Peas
2 Tbsp Butter

Tips: Soaking the rice gives it a nice flavor and texture to the rice when cooked.

- Melt the butter in a deep pan
- When the butter melts add the cumin seeds
- Add the Green Peas and Rice and fry it for 2 minutes
- If the rice is soaked add only 1 1/2 cups of water if not add 2 cups of water
- Cover and cook for 15- 20 minutes on simmer.
